Peace talks through culture.

I was born in Famagusta, Cyprus, but everything changed in 1974 when my family and I were forced to flee after the Turkish Invasion. That experience of losing my home stayed with me and became the driving force behind everything I’ve done since - both in business and in my fight to protect cultural heritage. I later founded Octagon Professionals International, an IT and staffing company working across Europe and Asia. At 27, I was proud to become the youngest and first woman to serve as Honorary Consul of Cyprus in the Netherlands.

Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to pursuit of cultural justice, confronting smugglers and the dangerous underground world of art trafficking. This work led to international recognition—including a Woman of Europe 2007nomination and the Order of St Barnabas, Cyprus Church’s highest honour. My book, The Icon Hunter is a memoir, dedicated to the Munich Operation, in which 60 million dollars worth of stolen antiquities were recovered. In 2011, I founded Walk of Truth, an NGO that brings together my entrepreneurial background and my passion for cultural justice. My journey has been shaped by loss, but it’s also been fuelled by purpose, resilience, and a deep belief in protecting what matters.

Join me and let’s stay connected on LinkedInInstagram, and Facebook. Your support, insights, and shared passion continue to inspire and drive this mission forward.

Warm regards,
